A morning shocker.

I was rushing to work this morning and when the lift door opens, guess who I saw.

CHEN LI PING & ZHU HOU REN ACTING INSIDE THE LIFT!

I was totally stunned. She smiled + waved to me then continued acting as the door closed.

I don't like to be emo and so theres no way I will write an emo blog post!
Instead I am on cloud 9 for the past 2 days! Woohooo!!

Firstly, the smoke of F1 cars is in the air!!! Personally I do not feel its a waste of money/time because its such a rare occasion! For average income Singaporeans, its a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity! Well, not to mention those rich people who can fly to anywhere in the world whenever they want to just to catch it.

Unforunately, I did not get the tickets (never intend to get it anyway). Although, I thought the price is affordable + reasonable but I just did not give a shyt about it. HOWEVER, I managed to catch a glimpse of speedy F1 cars while I was on my way to KL!

The coach was travelling on ECP, passing through the beautiful sceneries of the city and the construction wreakage of marina bay. Then came the roaring sound of F1 cars "VOOOM.. VOOOM.. VOOM.." non stop! There you can see the race cars going round the circuit!!!! I was at elevated ground so able to catch a wider but much smaller view. I can imagine the sound could be so deafening when you are just beside it! While I was able to kop a 3 seconds glance, huiwen and Ming are experiencing a much more exciting atmosphere of the race :(

HAHAHAHHAHAHA.

But what awaits me after the next 4.5hrs ride could be more exciting than F1!! (ok, that applies to me only) =D
While I was still working in Msia for that 3 months, I've spent most of my time in Midvalley (one of the most crowded shopping ctr in Msia), working working and working. What I see most are also shoes, shoes, and SHOES - ALL KIND OF NOSE SHOES!!

The AMOUNT of shoes I am talking about is...




The quality sucks, because my phone sucks and another thing is the CARTON OF SHOES are all pilled up to the ceiling that it blocks off the only light source in the store room. This is crazy.

Imagine a weakling like me had to carry the cartons everytime for stock take. Like maybe twice a week, something like that. Kenny used to say I am sooo not suitable for this kind of job. But thats not the point.

After months of hardwork, I quit, and managed to get myself some benefits out of it! Having tied some good relations with the manager there, now I get to purchase shoes using staff purchase! Oh, you might be thinking, "chey.. 10 - 20 % off only ma". Hey no lor, Nose(one of the famous shoe brand in msia) gives a good staff purchase rate of 40% off normal price! Its near to half price already! Another thing is, they will give me brand new shoes that NO ONE has ever tried before. HEHEHEHE!

When I visited this time round, I did not really have the chance to shop and was not really in the mood for shoes. But just bought the one that mummy carol wanted.

Original price = RM 79.90
After 40% discount = RM 47.94
After conversion = About SGD 19.90

Somemore, the quality aint that bad!!

Anyways, back to where I was saying, I did not go to any shopping place other than midvalley when I worked there. So this time round I visited 6 shopping ctrs in total - Midvalley, Sungei Wang, Lowyat, One Utama (got so confused around the place becos its just too huge!!), The curve & cineleisure! WHOAHAHAHA!




All of em' are quite nearby la, that is why I managed to go to so many in just 2 days :P

But hey, just because I do shop a lot doesnt mean i am super big spender. I just bought myself a top costing RM 19.90 (SGD 8.30) and Kenny, a Pull And Bear top (RM 69.90). The rest we spent on eating!!!

Oh ya, did myself a french manicure as well! :D


Kenny gave me this card, a very very special one.



I hate our last minutes together. The bus is about to take off soon and as usual we planned about how things should go from this moment onwards to the future. When a couple is in long-D relationship, this is one of the most common topic you will talk about..

Then we went on talking about wedding rings...

Before I continue, I must tell the whole world that I am a sua ku person as witnessed by Nuffnang. LOL. I THOUGHT a 1-carat diamond ring is so-called NORMAL for a wedding ring. But it turned out NOT TO BE. When I told my colleagues that I wanted Kenny to propose to me with a 1-carat diamond ring, Ming was kinda shocked. Because judging from the clarity grades of the diamond, the price differ greatly! Even so, a normal 1 carat diamond ring cost about 10k and a couple ring would mean 20k!! Somewhere there I tink.

To think about it, I can use that amount of money to study already or invest in our house/car. I am a very down to earth person. I do not buy branded such as LV or Prada because I know I cannot afford it. Maybe consider about it if I do have the status. If I were to know that the 1-carat diamond ring is so expensive, I wouldnt want him to get that either! But before I knew that, he actually agree on it, knowing it is that amount... OMG! SO HAPPY!

But still I wouldn't want that. I've thought about it, no need for engagement ring as well, one is enough.

What I sincerely do feel is that the amount of love he has for me is not to be measured by the amount of carat he gives me for a wedding ring.

We can use the amount of money for better purposes in our everlasting future!!

Just no big diamond ring to haolian to people! HAHAHAHA.

Since I am of no position of hao-lianing a 1carat diamond ring, I shall talk about my collection of rings!

I still remember in our most unforgettable times.. he folded this ring for me..
This is when we are locked up in Brunei for 2 nights after being caught in a raid.. The experience is hell but it is also through this, our love strengthened. I've always put this ring in my wallet so as to remember that day and to remind me of the hardship that we been through together.


And when I said, "I want a SUPER BIG diamond ring NOW!!".

This is what he gave me on the spot...


He made this look-alike-diamond PAPER ring out of bus tickets. LOL

And the ring he dropped into my mouth while we are kissing, my first ever certified white gold ring with mini diamonds.

Okay this is super old already, you can see the gold part coming out and the diamonds dropped out because of my work in NOSE. Having to move those cartons mentioned earlier..

So that is why, it is replaced with the current one!!



OKAY! I've finished haolian-ing!

To the final and last one, I shall wait for a few more months!!!

Oh noes. My bestie birthday is coming up. Another bestie's too. KENNY'S And uh. MINE! My girlfriends, and many friends'! All the year end babies!!! Lotsa pressie to buy!

And its time to think what I want for this year. That day when we go pass 1U, I saw the poster ad of this perfume.. And i tink its time to get myself one..
