A morning shocker.

I was rushing to work this morning and when the lift door opens, guess who I saw.

CHEN LI PING & ZHU HOU REN ACTING INSIDE THE LIFT!

I was totally stunned. She smiled + waved to me then continued acting as the door closed.

I don't like to be emo and so theres no way I will write an emo blog post!
Instead I am on cloud 9 for the past 2 days! Woohooo!!

Firstly, the smoke of F1 cars is in the air!!! Personally I do not feel its a waste of money/time because its such a rare occasion! For average income Singaporeans, its a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity! Well, not to mention those rich people who can fly to anywhere in the world whenever they want to just to catch it.

Unforunately, I did not get the tickets (never intend to get it anyway). Although, I thought the price is affordable + reasonable but I just did not give a shyt about it. HOWEVER, I managed to catch a glimpse of speedy F1 cars while I was on my way to KL!

The coach was travelling on ECP, passing through the beautiful sceneries of the city and the construction wreakage of marina bay. Then came the roaring sound of F1 cars "VOOOM.. VOOOM.. VOOM.." non stop! There you can see the race cars going round the circuit!!!! I was at elevated ground so able to catch a wider but much smaller view. I can imagine the sound could be so deafening when you are just beside it! While I was able to kop a 3 seconds glance, huiwen and Ming are experiencing a much more exciting atmosphere of the race :(

HAHAHAHHAHAHA.

But what awaits me after the next 4.5hrs ride could be more exciting than F1!! (ok, that applies to me only) =D
While I was still working in Msia for that 3 months, I've spent most of my time in Midvalley (one of the most crowded shopping ctr in Msia), working working and working. What I see most are also shoes, shoes, and SHOES - ALL KIND OF NOSE SHOES!!

The AMOUNT of shoes I am talking about is...




The quality sucks, because my phone sucks and another thing is the CARTON OF SHOES are all pilled up to the ceiling that it blocks off the only light source in the store room. This is crazy.

Imagine a weakling like me had to carry the cartons everytime for stock take. Like maybe twice a week, something like that. Kenny used to say I am sooo not suitable for this kind of job. But thats not the point.

After months of hardwork, I quit, and managed to get myself some benefits out of it! Having tied some good relations with the manager there, now I get to purchase shoes using staff purchase! Oh, you might be thinking, "chey.. 10 - 20 % off only ma". Hey no lor, Nose(one of the famous shoe brand in msia) gives a good staff purchase rate of 40% off normal price! Its near to half price already! Another thing is, they will give me brand new shoes that NO ONE has ever tried before. HEHEHEHE!

When I visited this time round, I did not really have the chance to shop and was not really in the mood for shoes. But just bought the one that mummy carol wanted.

Original price = RM 79.90
After 40% discount = RM 47.94
After conversion = About SGD 19.90

Somemore, the quality aint that bad!!

Anyways, back to where I was saying, I did not go to any shopping place other than midvalley when I worked there. So this time round I visited 6 shopping ctrs in total - Midvalley, Sungei Wang, Lowyat, One Utama (got so confused around the place becos its just too huge!!), The curve & cineleisure! WHOAHAHAHA!




All of em' are quite nearby la, that is why I managed to go to so many in just 2 days :P

But hey, just because I do shop a lot doesnt mean i am super big spender. I just bought myself a top costing RM 19.90 (SGD 8.30) and Kenny, a Pull And Bear top (RM 69.90). The rest we spent on eating!!!

Oh ya, did myself a french manicure as well! :D


Kenny gave me this card, a very very special one.



I hate our last minutes together. The bus is about to take off soon and as usual we planned about how things should go from this moment onwards to the future. When a couple is in long-D relationship, this is one of the most common topic you will talk about..

Then we went on talking about wedding rings...

Before I continue, I must tell the whole world that I am a sua ku person as witnessed by Nuffnang. LOL. I THOUGHT a 1-carat diamond ring is so-called NORMAL for a wedding ring. But it turned out NOT TO BE. When I told my colleagues that I wanted Kenny to propose to me with a 1-carat diamond ring, Ming was kinda shocked. Because judging from the clarity grades of the diamond, the price differ greatly! Even so, a normal 1 carat diamond ring cost about 10k and a couple ring would mean 20k!! Somewhere there I tink.

To think about it, I can use that amount of money to study already or invest in our house/car. I am a very down to earth person. I do not buy branded such as LV or Prada because I know I cannot afford it. Maybe consider about it if I do have the status. If I were to know that the 1-carat diamond ring is so expensive, I wouldnt want him to get that either! But before I knew that, he actually agree on it, knowing it is that amount... OMG! SO HAPPY!

But still I wouldn't want that. I've thought about it, no need for engagement ring as well, one is enough.

What I sincerely do feel is that the amount of love he has for me is not to be measured by the amount of carat he gives me for a wedding ring.

We can use the amount of money for better purposes in our everlasting future!!

Just no big diamond ring to haolian to people! HAHAHAHA.

Since I am of no position of hao-lianing a 1carat diamond ring, I shall talk about my collection of rings!

I still remember in our most unforgettable times.. he folded this ring for me..
This is when we are locked up in Brunei for 2 nights after being caught in a raid.. The experience is hell but it is also through this, our love strengthened. I've always put this ring in my wallet so as to remember that day and to remind me of the hardship that we been through together.


And when I said, "I want a SUPER BIG diamond ring NOW!!".

This is what he gave me on the spot...


He made this look-alike-diamond PAPER ring out of bus tickets. LOL

And the ring he dropped into my mouth while we are kissing, my first ever certified white gold ring with mini diamonds.

Okay this is super old already, you can see the gold part coming out and the diamonds dropped out because of my work in NOSE. Having to move those cartons mentioned earlier..

So that is why, it is replaced with the current one!!

To the final and last one, I shall wait for a few more months!!!

Oh noes. My bestie birthday is coming up. Another bestie's too. KENNY'S And uh. MINE! My girlfriends, and many friends'! All the year end babies!!! Lotsa pressie to buy!

And its time to think what I want for this year. That day when we go pass 1U, I saw the poster ad of this perfume.. And i tink its time to get myself one..

Hey peeps! First of all thank you for viewing my blog as I noticed an increase in my blog traffic! YAY *happy*

Other than just blogging about my daily lives, I've been thinking on how to make my blog more interesting!

I forsee that I will be super busy for the upcoming months cos' there are too many campaigns coming up! But at the same time, I do want to continue updating my blog.

Anyway, I am sure most of you have heard about megaupload and rapidshare right? It is one of those commonly used direct download sites!

There are times whereby I tell my friends about how superbly,heavenly and imba my dnl speeds can be! I will get responses like, " Really so good meh? But rapidshare is so sucky, always cannot download one...". Well that's because YOU ARE NOT A PREMIUM USER!

People are so used to free stuff on the net. However, there are times whereby you have to consider whether it is worth it to spend that amount of money for a big return you will get!

Such as.. rapidshare!

I've stopped downloading using torrents for a long long time because I got so sick of leechers and people not willing to seed. Okay, please don't mention torrents for naruto, bleach or similar. They are super high in demand, and of cos you get good speeds out of them. How about those not-so-popular ones, such as, applications? or even games? whereby its capacity goes up to like, 7GB maybe?

For about SGD $15 (30days), you get download speeds of 800kb/s - 1m/s for each download completed in a few minutes! But, always use a download accelerator, it will x7 ur download spd. You won't understand how good it is until you try it..



But normally i will download 5 at a go. Basically, I can finish downloading the whole season of prison break (HD) in like 1 - 2hr.

By all means, you can give it a try. Just sharing something good, not spreading piracy :X

The negative thing about these DD is that the links might get deleted cos rapidshare probably finds out u are spreading smthg illegal? But in any case, you can find new links most of the time.. people just keep uploading it! hahaa.

How does it feels to be seated in a car for straight 8-10 hours? That is what usually happen when I had to go back to Malaysia during Chinese New Year. My hometown is Perak, Ipoh - near to the borders of Thailand.

After my grandparents passed away, I hardly visit anymore. I felt myself more like a Singaporean than Malaysian, afterall i've been in Singapore for nearing to 18 years of my life now. Many people have been asking me why not convert citizenship? I could have! But to think long-term, it is not something to rush about doing now since I have unlimted days of access to both countries with the current status and my boyfriend's sake(he's malaysian) as well.

But recently, I have been more attached to Malaysia. After graduation, I went over to KL to work part-time for 3 months before I officially started work in Singapore. During the stay, I picked up basic Bahasa Melayu, get to know Malaysian friends and also understand the culture. It did crossed my mind to live there permanently, but I can't bear to be separated with my friends and family as well. Unfortunately, I am tied down by the government tuition grant bond due to polytechnic studies. Which means to work 3 years in Singapore but need not pay back. Who would be so dumb to pay the liquidated damages. So here I am back in Singapore working in Nuffnang!

My affliation to Malaysia does not end here! Nuffnang Singapore work closely with the Malaysia office.... SO WHAT HAPPEN IS... I AM NOW HERE IN KL WORKING, PLAYING AND BONDING! The main purpose here is to allow me bond with my fellow colleagues.



Am always the loyal supporter of Konsortium(coach svc) to KL cos its speedy! But of course things are different with Ming around. So, I got the chance to experience the extreme difference between executive(nice exec coach) and normal. (grassland not considered).

So these are what we have got...

Look at the crowd! Its BADDDD! But still not worse than being stuck in a traffic jam for hours!!! Hahahahhaa.

FINALLY HERE WE ARE AT THE OFFICE!!!!!

This is just PART of the office.. Its really very big and I love the colours and concept of this new office... Gives me a very warm and cosy feeling!!!

Not only that, they do also have this comfy corner here!!!!


Tho the main purpose for this trip is for me to bond with my fellow colleagues, still work has to be done and completed during the busy weekdays when emails will come flooding!



And after working hours can be sooo fun!!!!!

And yes, I believe everyone of us draw the line very clear. When it comes to work, we work hard. And after work, WE ARE A BUNCH OF CRANKY NUFFS!

Many questions were asked upon me about how I felt working in Nuffnang so far. I must say, it is with God's grace that I can be part of this warm and loving family. All the nuffies love what they are doing and are very commited to their work. That is of course due to the same passion we have. And on top of all these hardworking people, we have our determined bosses who formed the perfect partnership to this successful dotcom.

HE, who knew that I am going to KL the next day, was too excited to sleep.

Spent the entire night searching for the various driving directions to my office, making sure it is correct. Even drew out a mini-map in case he lost his way.













HE, who slept for only a couple of hours, drove to my office and got stuck in jams under the scorching sun for an hour. Finally made his way here, but unable to contact me because my HP was off and out of lunch as well. In disappointment, he had to drive back home again carrying the tiredness due to the lack of sleep. He came back to the office again after 3hours, again stuck in the jam. This time, I got to feel him...

He, who kissed me like never before, hugged me so tight till it was hard for me to breathe, accompanied me entire night. He was by my side even when I was sound asleep, stroked my hair and watched over me. Knowing how a deep sleeper I am, he did not sleep for the 2 nights, so that he will be there to wake me up for work. Only to sleep in the afternoon.

He, who wrote countless poems for me, is filled with sincerity, faith and trust able to sustain this love.

I wouldn't say that I am able to give him the equivalent effort he had put in for me, but I am sure in times of hardship, my support for him is forever, same goes for my love to him and his family.

And I promise that I will find you again next weekend. We will spend our night in genting hugging each other against the cold wind at night.

OH! I had a great weekend! Thanks to my colleagues and Mummy Carol.

Come to think of it, it had been a year since I last clubbed. Those were the havoc days with C8&C. The hardcore clubbings on every friday at MOS, till I got SO SICK and bored of it. Not anywhere but MOS. Oh ya, and once at zouk.

On Saturday night, I attended XX's party at Thumper with my colleagues. I thought it will be good to officially introduced to Wendy as I am gonna be the one chasing her for advertorials soon! Besides, I have not seen her personally before. Have not received the photos yet, but will update soon! Been there for like 2 hours only and went over to join Huiwen for mahjong.

We've played for 10 hours straight, till 11 in the morning! Crazy right? But that is still not the longest I've played tho. My record is 12hours straight! I love mahjong and everyone who knew how to play would agree with me that it is superrrr fun and addictive! After the mahjong session, I thought I should find my own mahjong kakis to play whenever fingers start to itch! Hee.. So anyone reading this, maybe you wanna consider joining me? :D


LOOK AT THIS MAN! THE PINCER IS AS BIG AS MY PALM!

It is crazy!!!!! Kenny's mom bought this crab at 50bucks and she cooked it with black pepper cos she knows that crab is my favourite dish of all times! Totally YUM :) For your information, I DO NOT like to eat the pincer but the legs/body part. That's because I feel that there isn't enjoyment at all when you are able to finish the pincer in 1 or 2 mouths. Good for me that no one will usually fight for the body with me! YAY!


I had this casual conversation with my boss today about the benefits of balancing between friends and boyfriend during lunch. As in, tho having a bf, you must still delicate time to your friends and be smart about it. Like not 'throwing' your entire life to him as if your life ONLY revolves around him and no one else. And until he dumps you... that's like the end of world, cos NO ONE'S THERE! I must say that I totally agree with it. Cos' it is damn true. And why would I know? Cos I've been the stupid one before. Trust me, it is terrible. When this conversation is raised, I thought to myself that I made a very big mistake at the very beginning of that relationship. Tho I have not known Ming for a long time, he was able to tell that I am that kind of person who will be really gone case if such things happen to me. Yes and he was right. It took me 2 years to overcome it. Hahas.. Am I really so easy to see through?

In anyways, I have learnt from my mistake and sees it as a valuable experience. NOW, I am happily moving forward~

One more thing keeping me at a heavenly mood is that I can forsee myself being SO HAPPY THIS WEEK! THANKS MING! -shall not tell you what it is yet-

Its friday again!! Thinking back, it seems like Monday was just yesterday.

My schedule for this week is like super pack! Well, good and bad in a way.

At lease I get to engage in many activities after work, meet more people, have fun! But the bad thing is I seemed to be neglecting Kenny and he is like unhappy about it.

I was thinking of delicating a part of this post to my forever-there-for-me friend, Boon! Since he is going in army tomorrow and tho he still does not feel like its tomorrow. Just accompanied him to buy his army phone(so last minute) and had a fabulous dinner at Bedok 85! Can't get enough for the food there!

I used to regret so much why I chose TP instead of SP. Why God make me enter into Internet & Multimedia Dev(TP) instead of Multimedia Tech(SP). Many regrets in life, but still if I am to choose again, I will go to TP. Boon and I knew how much we hated our course (i tink same goes to our coursemates), still, we love the friends we known from there!

I still remember once that all of us went over to play pool when we hardly even know each other during our first month of poly. I did not pay much attention to him, but jus knew that he was very quiet and not too bad at pool. MSN do make relations better. We hardly talk in school but MSN quite often as new friends. Let me tell you, he can be super hyper in MSN but damn quiet in real life. I do know many people who are like this as well. Normally, the side of them online is more of their actual character. During the worst time of my life, he is there and always there. There's jus too much gratitude to express how much he had helped me.

Some might think that why do i have a guy friend as my best friend, arent you afraid that he might become your boyfriend one day?

For us, we think it is important to draw the line very very clear even tho we had become very close. So that is why, our gf/bf are not jealous at all!

I couldn't imagine how disastrous things can become if I don't have him for the past few years. Things will turn out so differently.

A month's ago, I was planning to buy him something since he is going in soon, but i thought that everything is provided inside and basically, he needed NOTHING. He too asked me not to spend money.

Instead, he treated me dinner on thurs + todays too! Thanks so much!!

God had worked many miracles for me in life, gradually. At first I did not notice.. and I tot my life was shyt in the past 2 years.. But now i realised that it was a process. When I met with the most difficult time of my life(so far), I asked God why everything turned out like this for me. I asked God to remove me from all these. I asked God to give me happiness. I just want to be happy. But nothing seems to work..

At that time..

Many worries and problems were surfacing. I couldn't handle them and often burst in tears or broke down. I must say the past 2 years is hell for me. Phew finally got over it. AND I WANTED A CHANGE OF LUCK AND LIFE!

Things got SOOOO MUCH better this year..

God had given me so much that I felt so great & worry-free! Happiness is such a valuable thing.

1) Family

Things got better in my family and Kenny's side showered me with so much love!

2) Boyfriend

Always try to provide the best for me within his ability and we are planning to get engaged end of the year. So looking forward to the day he propose to me HEE!

3) Career

Out of so many applicants, I must say I am the luckiest person on Earth to be able to work in Nuffnang. What I value most in my job is that I enjoy what I am doing, so that I will be commited, treating it like my own. I do treasure this opportunity!

4) Lastly, friendship frm my girlfriends, the bunch of poly friends who always call me a half-male, super helpful/fun colleagues and BOON :)

IT IS ALL GODSENT! AND I FEEL SO LOVED AND BLESSEDDDD!!!!
